We are pleased to say that our new wines from Burgundy have now safely arrived in our EHD London Bond warehouse. The four new wines are:
- Chablis, Tradition La Pierrelée 2011– stunning Chablis that has just won a Gold Medal in 2013 Decanter World Wine Awards
- Chablis, Grand Cru Les Preuses 2009 – everyone must try GC Chablis at least once, pure luxury!
- Saint-Véran, Les Sentinelles 2011 – wonderful, vielles vignes white Burgundy. Great value!
- Côte Chalonnaise Rouge Buissonnier 2011—fine Pinot Noir at a drinkable price

A small extra allocation of Chateau Micalet vintage 2004 has just arrived in our excise warehouse early March. Also on the pallet from Bordeaux were new supplies of the lovely 2010 Graves Blanc Callipyge from Chateau du Respide and more L’Ombriere Pomerol. Time to imbibe and enjoy!!

The first wine is just like your favourite fruit cocktail – Maestria 2009 Pacherenc du Vic Bilh
The second wine is a famous fingerprint – L`Empreinte Blanc, 2010 St. Mont
And the third new wine is that special it has a wooden label, a waxed closure and a lot of story – Le Faite Blanc, 2009 St.Mont
No Tony has not got a new car but after 5 years of trying many different Rose wines and feeling decidedly unimpressed we found one that we actual enjoyed drinking Cotes de Provence, Ch. des Vingtinières 2011. [read more …]
