Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Vermentino, Clairette

If you are looking for a change from Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc for your “Fish on Friday” meal, then why not try this blend of white sunshine grapes from the Rhône valley?  This organic wine comes from hand-picked grapes that are fermented with natural yeasts  and matured in old French oak barrels, producing a wine of class and difference.
Total assemblage of 72% Grenache blanc, 18% Roussanne, 5% Vermentino and 5% Clairette.  This is the first time that the Domaine have used Vermentino and it really does make a difference – it freshens up the wine and adds a lovely citrusy overlay.
Clear shining gold appearance with a complex nose of white flowers and honeysuckle with hints of sandalwood and citrus. A clean, crisp minerality on the palate with big hits of Passion and Kiwi fruits. A long savoury and complex finish make a wine that is very drinkable now but will develop and become richer with age.
Possessing the pedigree to accompany any white meats, strong cheeses and spicy foods, as well as having the class and nuances to accompany your favourite fish or shellfish dishes.
“Try something different –  white Rhône wine sunshine wine from Mont Ventoux!”
