Chablis 1er Cru wines comprise of about 15% of all Chablis production and are stylish, mineral wines that are still very underrated. Les Beauregards is one of the famous Crus renowned for producing fresh elegant wines that drink wonderfully well after just a few years but also have the structure to develop for a decade or more.
The Fillon family use no oak for their Ier Crus wine to maintain that freshness and purity of the grape. A nose of green apples, limes and white flowers leads into a fresh, round mouth of citrus zests, wet stones and steel – a textbook classic Chablis that is both elegant, rich and powerful! A wine for both “thinking and drinking” that will make you wonder why it has taken you so long to discover Ier Cru Chablis.
