More Bordeaux wines arrived late October!

Just in case of that “B” word we were delighted to bring over the latest vintages of  some of our Bordeaux favourites into our Bond warehouse before October 31st.  They are already proving very popular at recent Wine Festivals so for special Christmas celebrations get in touch quickly !  Have a look at our tasting notes under Bordeaux Classics, especially for :

Chateau les Cabannes, Grand Cru St. Emilion 2016
Chateau Fredignac, La Favorite 2015, Blaye Cotes de Bordeaux,
Chateau de Fontenille, Entre Deux Mers 2018 and Bordeaux Clairet 2018.The award winning Chateau de Fontenille Entre Deux Mers 2018 is superb – Stephane Defraine says it is probably the best he has made, which is quite something for one of the appellations most renowned winemakers! We also have his 2018 Bordeaux Clairet for those that love this increasingly rare deep pink/light red from which the old English term Claret is derived.
We had sold out of the 2015 wines from Ch. Fredignac, Ch. des Moines and Les Cabannes so were delighted to secure a few more bottles of the 2015 Le Favorite from Ch. Fredignac.  Having tasted the 2016 vintages at Ch. des Moines and Les Cabannes in July we are very happy to now have their 2016 vintage in stock in time for 2020 as both wines are only just starting their drinking lives so should be drinking nicely over the next 4/8 years
